Interlock bricks are the latest advancement of construction basically in Kerala. Interlock
bricks are used for making houses and they don’t need cement for that. These bricks are

Advantages of Interlock Bricks.

 These bricks are cost saving as they don’t need cement and sand for construction.
 Being a less warmth serious and normal material, laterite holds coolness inside the
house.

 Less labour intensive and more time saving as these bricks just need to lock each
other and they don’t need that much time and labour. You can save almost half of
your time.

 The Interlocking blocks can be rescued without harm when the house is being
disassembled later on.

Disadvantages of Interlock Bricks

 Weeds growth is the most important problem of interlock bricks. As we know there
nothing like cement in interlock bricks and due to rains and other things, weeds and
grasses grow in interlock bricks.

 Fading of color is also one of the biggest problems of interlock bricks. As they
comes in use again and again and due to the rain water and moisture or maybe
other problems their colors fades away. The shade of paver square can likewise
blur because of the low quality of admixture utilized during assembling the squares.
Similarly as with some other shaded items powerless to the climate conditions, one

 Sometimes they become unstable or starts breaking out. This is also one of the
biggest problems of these bricks. Interlock bricks always need strong base, if not
